I'm presently in-charged with the newsletter writing but until now, with all the ideas that come out of my head I'm still worried with one thing: What are the appropriate things that should be included in a newsletter? Should it be something that is only about our company and services?
I would say include something that might be of interest to your readers! for example if they are technical, then come up with an article about the latest technology advancements.
Well tha's too specific I think.  Our company is about staff leasing, outsourcing projects.  Being technical might end up having a book instead of a newsletter because from our nature of work, we do cover most technical and non-technical aspects too.  Shouldn't we just focus on our services?  Or will that produce a spam farm?
You can add information on concepts or trends within the leasing and outsourcing projects industry. You could also add in little blurbs about protecting yourself and reading over contracts...just add these to your main company-related snippets as a human interest type of thing.

People are always looking for the top paying positions or looking for ways that they can save on their outsourcing. You could work these topics into articles about why your company delivers the best outsourcing projects or whatever.

I think a combination of news specifically concerning your company with a human (or business) interest type of story would be both informative and entertaining for your readers.
