So which affiliate products have the best click-through rates. In other words, which products have the highest sell rates?

I Don't think it just depends on products
there are a lot of other factors like
[1] Price of product
[2] Sellers reputation, policy,
[3] Quality of products
[4] Customers reviews etc..
I have to agree with Montok.

On October 14, 15 and 16 -- just days before the new bankruptcy law went into effect -- my Adwords clicks went through the roof, and so did my sales. This is because I was selling bankruptcy filing software and it was something that people were desperate to get their hands on.

Generally, it seems like my financially related ads get clicked a lot, but they don't convert well.

It would be good to remember that click through rate (CTR) doesn't equal more sales, it only equals more money paid to Google. Of course they'd like you to focus mainly on CTR and they hammer that into every beginner’s head, when what you really need to concern yourself with, when choosing a product and while promoting it at any PPC, is the conversion rate of the sales page. Then, when you think you’ve found a winner (I also suggest not taking a commission below 50% for a beginner), test it out carefully by only using a couple adgroups at first. And then, you can begin boosting CTR by split testing two ads against each other continually. But, make sure you have some sort of conversion tracking installed either on your landing pages, or by asking your merchant to place your Google code on their thank you pages so you can track your conversion rate as well as your CTR. I don’t have to tell you that you can lose a lot of money fast if your Cost / Conversion is too high and/or if your Conversion Rate is too low.

If you’re just starting out and just need a push in the right direction towards getting your very first stream of affiliate income set up… I suggest promoting Clickbank products because their commission rate is higher than most and they pay you like clockwork every two weeks.
Some great information here regarding CTR. Thanks for the info...
