Anyone use Google Adword?
I'm really not into it as in many forums, others "hire" others to click on the advertisements..
I signed up for a hosting account, and with my hosting account I received $25 worth of Google Adwords as a bonus. Since I've been using Google Adword I can honestly say that I have had a few clicks, but no sales from my site -- just clicks. Once my $25 runs out I do not plan to continue. I think there is better advertising services out there that will produce far better results, but this is just my two cents.
I've been making a great living off Google Adwords for over two years now. I can tell you, a lot has changed since I started. Back then, there were no minimum bids and most of my highest converting keywords cost about 7 cents each, some 5 cents. Ah, the good ol' days. Thank God that once you finally tweak a campaign you can sometimes leave it running on it's own for awhile, making it somewhat passive income. But, bidding wars, click fraud, and a 500 lbs. corporate gorilla (Google) breathing down your neck, flaunting their power over you and doing absolutely nothing about click fraud, it's more like a J.O.B. than a good way to make money online.

My advice, forget about Adwords until you have your own product to promote there. But, if you're stubborn and just can't rest until you make it work, then you might stand half a chance.
Logically, profits ought to be easier for own products than affiliate products. On the other hand, professional affiliate marketers can perhaps scale better so they need less of a margin. Anyways, I use Adwords and am fairly happy with it.
A suggestion : If u ttrying to run an adwords campaign on a forum , try it by making the forum a revenue sharing one ... and u will see the benifits.
