I'm very new to all this. I have been only just starting to learn. I was wondering what are all these talks about "submitting articles"..I also see a lot of posts where people offering to write articles.. I'm a writer and I was wondering what would qualify me as internet article writer?
Is it about a particular site like a review? Is it possible for me to look at an example? Any info would be really nice..

Well, I have been asked to to write a few articles and I'm just wondering, what can I do to help protect my work? As you know people can just copy my work word for word and sell them? How can i prove to buyers that my articles are mine and How can I stop people from ripping off my stuff?

One bad experince with me:
One article site published my article on their site. the article was free for publishing but condition was that they must provide resource box to me and link my site. but unfortunately he din't. so when i found that i contacted them that they should provide link to me. and i was surprise with his reply that "i must submit article with html code for active link" (however i never submitted article to his site).
So, better way is to copyright your article first before you publish it!!
Unless you copyright your material you can do very little to prevent the rip off merchants, its something that is going to happen even to copyrighted material so do not worry about it and don't let it prevent you from benefiting from article submissions.
