What is your favourite design software and why?
Mine: Adobe Photoshop
Reason: It's rather easy, once you get the hang of it, and you can do a lot of things with it, the possibilities are endless almost.

Well mine is ADOBE Flash MX .
I always use it for what ever I design, be it a logo, a template, or anything!
I haven't used flash much, is it actually really good for designing things like that?
I use PhotoShop - it is very powerfull and simply rocks!

Photoshop for me too. Mainly because It is what i'm used to. I have been photoshop for several years now..It's very easy to use and the sheer amount of the features make it one of the best or the best deign software
I love MACROMEDIA flash MX
It's very easy to make logo's, animations and illustrations with it.
As far as I know it's the only program with quadratic beziercurves, and I think they are easy to work with.
This doesn't mean I don't need other programs tough.
I also use... photoshop and illustrator.
As far as I'm concerned, Macromedia Flash MX 2004 is one of the best animation softwares ever produced in the market and I have used them for many years now. You are able to make anything from scratch, starting from zero to a site with many interactive features. But the bad thing about them is that they are too costly to purchase, although I must say you will realise its money well spent

Definitely Adobe Photoshop for me.
I like it because it is so diverse in the selection of designs it can produce. It can make amazing 3D effects, websites, everything. Unfortunately, I really loathe the way that it and ImageReady produce coding after you do Save For Web on a sliced image.
Definately Photoshop because it has much more features than Fireworks, and is still an easy to use program...
I use photoshop and sometimes flash. But i dont like flash more because of the timelines and scence.
I use several flash animators like 3dfa for the animation.
