Anyone every considered buying some ready made sites for adsense?
You can find those by doing some simple Google searches.
There are a lot of people that develop some small sites and publish them and put them for sale saying that the site is optimized for adsense and it iwll generate profit.
I totally hate them. I have no respect for such sites. The information there is zero as value is concened, just some beating round the bush with over optimized texts .. I think a site needs to be done for the USER and afterwards for the revenue ...
I do buy them and have made very good money off them. But heres the trick at least for me. I use to stimulate my mind and rewrite the content to make it more original and informative. Hence the site gets a web make over lol. I just use the orginal site as a blueprint and hopelly make it better.
I've even seen some such sites advertising itself with adwords.. I wonder how it is profitable...

Well they choose low cost adwords and target higher ones and aim for a high click to view ratio! This way they tend to get some profit
yes, it profitable. It funny, but it really works, and works well if use brain, and methods like frankybme described.
I know at lease two guys, who make $ on it.

I agree that it works, but you should be able to drive good traffic to the site to get profits
considered it never did it.. started writing my own targeted pages for 1 domain focusing on what i think would be high cost keywords..i am sure people do make money off it.,. but i am hopign for higher rankings in the serps
yeah i tried my hand on one but i m not in favor of such sites as their is nill info and they are just for a short period of time after that the revenue starts dipping.
