I tried this ad revenue program once, and it's just insane.

The real moneymaker is Google, you get like 0.1% of the profit.

In a year you MAY get what like 10 cents....

Just remove it, people may be deterred to signup, when they see ads. They will think it's unprofessional, and they don't know they aren't there when registered...

Well if your site is really going very well, ads can really make you a lot of income. For now I decided to make it adless for members and I will see how things will go!
And anyways, members usally don't click on ads

Ad or not ad it makes no difference to me. Sometime the ads are quite useful, it present you with a service you may be interested in and give you the opportunity to wast your rivals money by clicking on his ad

I hardly ever click on the ads, and they have never been useful to me.

same with me most of the time, but now and again I see an add that offerer what i need, naturally I click on it

yeah i am willing to miss those 'rare' opportunities in ads since i might see them somewhere else
